The CASLab will have an EcoPhysics Pure Air Generator (PAG).
The PAG will deliver up to 15Lmin-1 scrubbed air. The majority of gases that we are measuring will be removed by this system. However, please be aware that there may be CO2, CO.... in the
airstream.
According to our records, the following instruments require use of the PAG. We are intending on staggering the usage throughout the day so that it never has to deliver at full capacity. In order
to facilitate this, it will be necessary to control the PAG triggering from the data acquisition system. Can you therefore please let us know how much air you require, how often and for how long.
Please also let us know if you have any specific additional requirements (eg. time of day) and how the PAG is to be connected to your instrument.
HONO 1-10Lmin-1 once per day for one hour
H2O2 HPLC 0.5 Lmin-1 ??
NOY 4 Lmin-1 twice per day for one hour
PAN 3-5 Lmin-1 2-4 hours per day
CO analyser 1-10Lmin-1 once per day for one hour
HCHO 2 Lmin-1 once per day for 0.5 hours
NMHC-GC 300 sccm continually
PERCA ?
GC-MS ?
Compressor
There will also be a compressor in the CASLab.
According to our records, the following instruments require use of the compressed (not clean) air (e.g. for switching valves). Please check this and let us know the frequency and delivery rate
required by your instrument so that we can ensure sufficient capacity.
