There is no need to supply racks with front, side and rear panels (dust is not a problem at Halley!). I would recommend you get 800mm deep racks as they offer more internal space and the possibility of mounting equipment at the back as well. Order racks with castors to allow them to be moved around the lab.
We decided that a maximum height of 1800mm is probably adequate to bring the rack through the CASLab lobby doors (frame clearance is 800Wx2000H), and clear items mounted on the lab ceiling (main air sampling pipe, overhead lights and sockets...). The approximate clearance from floor to ceiling in the lab is 2200mm
