Surviving Antarctica Book
The book is aimed at the general reader with an interest in travel and the polar regions - including both older children and adults. It is definitely non-academic but very much an accessible, clear and fascinating guide to the region, its inhabitants, and how they live and work in such extreme conditions. This is reflected in the content and layout, which includes fun blogs, many stunning images, and text which is both simple to read and easy to understand.
The book is endorsed by the well-known survivalist and TV presenter Ray Mears, who wrote the foreword. It can be purchased from the Natural History Museum online shop, Amazon and all good bookshops!
