Research Interests
I have been an active scientist for twenty one years applying geology to solve tectonic and, more recently, palaeoenvironmental problems from a whole Earth perspective. This has involved six Antarctic field seasons, and extensive fieldwork on Irish Carboniferous and Caledonian rocks.
