Biography

I am a research scientist working on polar ice cores in order to reconstruct past climate variations over the last 150 000 years. I joined the British Antarctic Survey in October 2010, after completing a Ph.D at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (France). Within the BAS Chemistry and Past Climate group, I carry out scientific research to provide information on the past evolution of (i) Antarctic firns during climatic variations using a range of chemical and physical components and (ii) the climatic evolution of the previous interglacial period.

Education

2007- 2010: PhD, "Climatic informations and chronological constraints inferred from the air trapped in polar ice cores", LSCE, Universite de Versailles-St Quentin en Yvelines (France).

2006-2007: Master (Second year) "Climate-Environment Interaction", UVSQ (France).

2004-2006: Physics and Chemistry of Planet and Earth, Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon (France).

2004-2002: Bachelor in Geosciences, Universite de Savoie (France).
