Biography
I am a research scientist at the British Antarctic Survey. I use both climate and high-resolution forecast models to study dynamical and chemical atmospheric processes, bridging between global and local scales. The primary aim of my work is to further understanding of the mechanisms that lie behind natural and human-induced drivers of climate variability in the polar regions.
Details about my research on climate variability over West Antarctica can be found at http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/data/absl/
Education:
PhD in atmospheric sciences from the University of Cambridge focusing on the transport of halogenated short-lived compounds and their role in stratospheric ozone chemistry.
Masters degree in Chemistry, MChem (Hons), from Bangor University.
