At the start of the summer season, a new fuel dump was put in at `Wilson's Depot', or `Camp Gary' as it became known in honour of one of the outgoing winterers. Gary, along with our winter base commander Simon, were flown out for a few days while fuel drums were shuttled out from Halley. These drums are likely to be used later this season for moving and collecting a geology field party based further east.
