• The Club welcomes members from those who worked with Operation Tabarin, the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey and the British Antarctic Survey and current members of the British Antarctic Survey.
• The Club keeps its 1000 members in touch with Antarctic activities by circulating a Newsletter twice a year and arranging an Annual Reunion.
• The Club provides financial help to members or their dependants who are in hardship by payments from the Club’s Benevolent Fund.
• The Club administers the Laws Prize and the Fuchs Medal competitions.
• The Club supports projects that document the Antarctic life and work of members.
• The Club Subscription is £10 annually. Please complete the Application Form to join.

Activities in 2009

• Establishing a British Antarctic Oral Heritage Project to capture Antarctic reminiscences of personnel who worked in the Antarctic between 1945 and 1995.
• Working with BAS to complete a Memorial Orchard at BAS Cambridge.
• Promoting the appeal for funds to commission a sculpture of a husky dog as a memorial to all Antarctic huskies.
