British Antarctic Survey Ozone Bulletin No 15 Issued from Faraday station, Antarctica, 1995 December 10. Due to limited data resources available at the station this bulletin is less detailed than those issued from the UK. Total ozone values at the British Antarctic Survey Faraday station (65 deg S, 64 deg W, off the coast of the Antarctic Peninsula) continue to oscillate as the station passes under the edges of the ozone hole. Although present values have risen to around 310 DU, they are still much less than the long term mean for the station, which is around 370 DU in early December. Total ozone values at the British Antarctic Survey Halley station (76 deg S, 26 deg W, on the Brunt Ice Shelf) held steady through mid November at around 160 DU, then rose to around 210 DU towards the end of the month, before falling back to around 185 DU in early December. Values are now rising, but are considerably below the long term mean for the station, which is around 370 DU in early December.
