About the performances

Live Earth concerts — 70 hours of concerts will make up a 24-hour highlight event for broadcast in 120 territories.

Exclusive online media partner MSN is helping Live Earth reach people in every corner of the globe. MSN’s 39 localized web portals worldwide attract 465 million monthly users. MSN will carry, live, every stage of the concerts which start on 7th July in Australia followed by the others that go on till 8th.

The concerts will be broadcast on more than 120 networks around the world. NBCS is the major network TV broadcaster in USA and there are plans to air also on Bravo, and possibly on NBC as well as on a ‘world feed’, seen on Uni HD and Sundance in the USA. BBC is the major network TV broadcaster in UK. Coverage of Live Earth will appear across BBC One and BBC Two as well as BBC Radio.

The proceeds from the Live Earth concerts will create the foundation for a new, multi-year global effort to combat the climate crisis led by the Alliance for Climate Protection and its Chair, former Vice President Al Gore.

Save Our Selves (SOS) — The Campaign for a Climate in Crisis aims to trigger a global movement to combat the climate crisis. MSN has partnered with SOS to use its reach to make the Live Earth concerts available across the globe.
